Nova Scotia HodgePodge app for iPhone and iPad

A free app created and supported by Maggie’s Place Family Resource Centre in Truro, Nova Scotia that connects parents and caregivers to Nova Scotia HodgePodge - an in person program that helps preschoolers and their parents learn the basics of healthy eating and physical activity through the love of reading, rhyme and song, and group activities!

The app offers:

- Program resources relating to Nutrition, Early Learning, Literacy, Parenting and Physical Activity including fact sheets, links to songs and videos created by the program

- Links to other external resources that are related to or support the program in the areas of Nutrition, Early Learning, Literacy, Parenting, and Physical Activity

- Weekly tip notifications that will be specific to program topics - Nutrition, Early Learning, Literacy, Parenting and Physical Activity

- A calendar that will display upcoming events and listings of Nova Scotia HodgePodge programs within the users area. All events will also have attached descriptions and locations making them easily accessible to the user

- Direct contact information and locations for program centres and coordinators
